    Description

    HAND MADE & HAND PAINTED
Wood House Model Shelf Sitter of Atlanta's famous 1929 FOX THEATRE at 660 Peachtree Street, decorated for Christmas.  This was created in 1996, the Olympic Year, so the film feature is appropriately  "Go For The Gold".
The theater, which has over 4000 seats, was originally planned as part of a Shrine Temple complex - hence the Moorish (Egyptian Revival) style architectural flourishes.
Gone with the Wind premiered here in 1939
The model is hand painted on wood ON BOTH SIDES,  and signed & dated by Faline in 1996 for her design house Cat's Meow.
Her iconic cat Casper is featured on the marquee.
    Sized 5 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide. 3/4" thick
Part of the Atlanta Christmas series
Beautiful fresh condition! This was carefully stored. Nice condition with no breaks or cracks. Painting is lovely. Clean, no scuffs. Solid wood.
