    Description

    Up for sale is an antique picture frame for 6x8" mirror, art, photo recently found at auction in Lancaster County PA.  It is hand painted in a very naive, primitive folk art style, almost a Pennsylvania Dutch style, typical of the art of Lancaster County PA.  Unknown if child like folk art style or painted by a child.  Hearts, trees and various unrecognizeable shapes.  Lines along the sides very nice.  Distressed from age, use, moving and storage, small losses to paint.  But wonderful for a mirror in any folk art primitive location.  Very dirty as if near a hearth or in a smoke filled room for decades.  Unsigned.
