    Description

    Wonderful hand crafted artisan doll by folk artist Susan Sanders titled Two Faces.
    This piece measures approximately 5 x 4 inches and weighs 2.74 oz.
    The piece depicts a mother holding a young child. Their faces are in leather as is the bottom/base. The soft, plush body is covered with a vintage patterned wool in mauve, purple, and blue tones. Both faces have beaded eyes and a their faces are framed by blue and white beads.
    The bottom is marked: Perle de Verre. Two Faces. 2/25. There is a large maker symbol mark in the center with the date 1985 on either side. Underneath that symbol it has copyright 1982 Susan Sanders. The quality of this piece is very evident. It is a beautiful piece of folk art.
